IC-CEC 2026

2026 International Conference on Cybersecurity and Edge Computing(IC-CEC 2026)

Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Speakers, Respected Colleagues, and Participants, It is with great pleasure and honor that we welcome you to the 2026 International Conference on Cybersecurity and Edge Computing(IC-CEC 2026). From January 23rd to 25th, 2026, we gathered in Hong Kong, China, a dynamic metropolis blending centuries of cultural heritage with cutting-edge innovation. This vibrant city is celebrated for its unique East-meets-West charm and world-class advancement in green technology.

This year’s conference theme, focusing on Cybersecurity and Edge Computing, is particularly timely and compelling as the digital age grapples with unprecedented challenges—securing edge ecosystems, meeting ultra-low-latency service demands, and safeguarding intelligent networks. We are thrilled to explore how cutting-edge innovations—from edge intelligence and 5G/6G-integrated edge architectures to AI-powered security defenses and quantum cryptology frontiers—can propel secure edge computing advancements, fortify network attack and defense capabilities, and unlock new potentials for smart cities, industrial applications, and distributed systems worldwide.

We are privileged to have with us an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers. Please join me in welcoming:

Prof. Jing-Ming Guo from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, an IEEE & IET Fellow, whose expertise in AI and generative AI will provide invaluable guidance for cross-domain applications and smart healthcare innovation.

Prof. Kwangjo Kim from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), an IACR Fellow, whose expertise in cryptology and post-quantum cryptography will offer profound insights into securing edge computing against quantum threats.

Assoc. Prof. Peiying Zhang from China University of Petroleum (East China), a leading scholar in semantic computing and edge AI, whose research achievements will enrich our discussions on secure edge computing in distributed networks.

Assoc. Prof. Ainuddin Wahid Bin Abdul Wahab from the University of Malaya, an Associate Professor, whose work in digital forensics and information security will bring cutting-edge perspectives to digital artefact research.

Building on the success of previous academic exchanges in the field, IC-CEC 2026 aims to exceed expectations as a platform for cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing and collaborative innovation. The technical sessions will spark engaging discussions on key topics: Generative AI’s cross-domain applications and smart healthcare value, post-quantum cryptography for edge computing quantum threat defense, secure and privacy-aware edge computing in distributed networks, and digital artefact theory, techniques and digital forensics insights.

The diverse perspectives shared by researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners from across the globe will lay a strong foundation for actionable cooperation and breakthrough advancements in cybersecurity and edge computing.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants—your groundbreaking research, invaluable insights, and active engagement made IC-CEC 2026 a resounding success. As we close this chapter in Hong Kong, let us carry forward the ideas, partnerships, and aspirations forged here, confident that they will catalyze tangible progress in the global journey toward robust cybersecurity infrastructure and innovative edge computing development.

Thank you for making this event a memorable milestone in our collective pursuit of secure, efficient, and intelligent next-generation digital ecosystems. Welcome to Hong Kong, and let us embark on this inspiring journey together!
